When in-game, preferably ArmA 2/CO vanilla check the little volum icon in tool bar and go to mixer to view ArmA volume setting. If using Skype it may adjust settings. Might help, might not.

1 : 99% of users can not see your text, I assume you are using mobile or default IP Theme. Black text on default DayZ Theme does not show. 2 : You have posted in the wrong Forum section. Server General is for Official Public Servers, not Private Hive Servers.

"Texture detail - Self explanatory. The higher this setting is the more memory your GPU needs, doesn't have much effect on performance if you have a good graphic card. Whatsoever, it is recommended to use higher setting if your GPU is newer than your processor as GPU's RAM memory module and onboard CPU will handle load-render processes better. Vanilla means just that, including no DC for launching. Obviously DayZ Commander is for launching,,, DayZ !
