This is a problem for the DayZ / BE development, not Nvidia if indeed the cause, hence feedback or confirmation required.

I have done (all the regular tricks). Deleted all BE folders & files. Verified game cache/ restarted Steam. I am.... Unable to close DayZ exe through task bar or end processes. A soft computer restart will not work, a hard boot /reset is required. There are no RPT files, bidmp or mdmp logs dated (today 21/11/15). Recent changes to system include latest nvidia drivers and -newui both of which worked prior to the small update to DayZ yesterday. I have not reverted to Stable to check if working. Some say is related to latest nvidia drivers (needs confirmation/feedback). Keep calm and be patient and have a nice DayZ :D

I'm game for any opportunity to promote anything Red Orchestra / Tripwire Interactive related. Firstly it was not TheSneakyDude who kos'd me ;) Secondly I do not accept apologies from tossers kosers. Thirdly I do not rage quit, although I have been know to insult tossers certain players in a most profane manner, much to my surprise and amusement :D Let me be quite clear, I only run experimental builds to test certain aspects and only 1st pp (unless new camera position requires). I do not "play" Stable at all. It is my believe that I was the first person to receive a copy of the game outside of the development/company and a few VIP's. I have as many hours or near as in ArmAIII as I do in DayZ (excluding pre-alpha). My favorite game of all time is Tiddlywinks.

I'd be interested to know, why don't you experiment. Perpetually as far as the eye can see.

The speed at which loot is re-spawning is at best 10x too fast. I have just spent the last couple of hours (until some kucfing stupid derp kos'd me), there are few loot spawns on Skalisty Island so I was able to do the rounds dumping nearly everything I found in or near their origins (couple of rubbish dumps & the well), the loot was varied so that aspect appears to be working well enough but the speed at which new loot appears is surprisingly fast,,, that tick rate ( :D ) is working overtime. I did not notice any lag in particular while doing this farming. However using the (standard UI) hot bar to equip an axe to defend myself while being attacked is deplorable, it just has to be due to close proximity with other players, this also happened yesterday, same server DE-02,,,,but that's another story. So if you happen to go to Skalisty Island and you find loot stacks on static dumps, it was me. Question for €ugene : Q :How many apple trees are there on Skalisty Island. A: = ? ************************* EDIT : There were two dead bodies near the lighthouse that did not despawn all the while I was on-line 90/120 minutes (+or-).

Are you using the correct native resolution for system and game ? Is 3D Render set to 100% (video options).
