I'm not sure I would want to use a knife with a handgun unless it was approaching machete size, or the handgun was unreliable. I think the extra hand would be better off helping control the handgun. The main problem I see with two weapons at once is coding and shooting... how do you use the second one at the same time with a mouse? A flashlight would be good though since you can't shoot unless you can see what you're aiming at. I hope if this is implemented that the devs create a new recoil class for using a handgun with one hand, because it's a lot harder to control than using two.

The only thing bad about them is the ridiculously slow response times, inability to post most images and error 504s. Wait... :lol: Oh: if I want to post an image, I just convert it to .png and that seems to do the trick. Animated gifs also seem to work... but not static ones. <_<

Yikes... I haven't betrayed anyone yet and I've only been betrayed once after I gave a guy a spare gun and he immediately shot me.

I don't think you should be able to recover beanbag ammunition since it works the same as any other shotgun ammunition, but other than that I think it's a good idea for the pacifists out there. Apart from beanbags there is also rubber buckshot and slugs, even fin-stabilized rubber slugs which are fairly accurate.

I believe it's legit but extremely rare, however, who knows? I know it says it's legit on the wiki, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. If you find one, just assume it's been hacked. SUVs are the hacker's car of choice. I found one last night near Elektro next to an An-2.

It doesn't matter if you have no weapons when you spawn, a Makarov is useless against players anyways and zombies are easy to lose.

I've only killed one hero, since heroes usually don't kill on sight. I saw him at the airfield and shot him on a whim. Then he proceeded to whine and mope and go "Which of you killed me? Which of you killed me? I was a hero! You're so dead. You're so dead." and verbally flail around and beat his fists on the floor. Seriously? <_< And it's not the first time I've seen hero-whining.

10 FPS on lowest settings. Please help.

Well I don't know that much about computer specs, try turning off Windows Aero, ending explorer.exe, using Gamebooster (as you are) and go to Computer, Advanced System Settings, Adjust for Performance. :| -
I can run it smooth online and off on mostly low settings on a stock Toshiba Satellite L735-04D. So look at laptops that are roughly equal to or more powerful than that and you'll be good to go. [edit: that is, assuming you are getting a laptop] I would wait for the standalone if you can though, the main feature of that is touted to be... less hacking. :lol: Although there's nothing wrong with buying Combined Ops now since it's an awesome game itself for about $20 and you could play DayZ in the meanwhile.

Was just randomly daydreaming about it. Here are a few that come to mind... Mosin-Nagant 91/30 and M.44 (with working bayonet! Would replace Enfield) SKS (would replace Winchester) SAKO TRG 42 (in .338 Lapua) Tokarev TT33 PPsh 41 and PPS43 Hunting knife (as a weapon, but a fairly ineffective one, no throwing, no one-shot kills!) Tikka T3 Light (in 6.5x55mm Swedish Mauser, need more hunting rifles) These are just a few things I was thinking of, add your own! -
Had a DMR, night vision, GPS, rangefinder, ghillie, all hunting supplies, morphine, epi-pen, blood bags, water bottle, PDW with 210 rounds, basically everything one could want. I was waiting under a tree observing another guy in a ghillie running about 400 m away. He ran into the Elektro fire station trailed by zombies and several shots rang out. I waited for him to appear but suddenly I was teleported onto the middle of a remote road! I heard the roar of a nearby diesel engine and quickly aborted before the hackers could run me over.

I noticed that at: 100 m the scope radius is about 1 man high 200 m the scope radius is about 2 men high 300 m the scope radius is about 3 men high and so on. Seems to work OK as long as you can judge accurately. -

First a player would have to get some virtual training: There aren't even any mountains in Chernarus high enough to jump off, let alone a simple cliff.

While we're at it, we should add propeller beanie spawns so we can soar above the ground.

Meh, random hacked weapons are the black market of Dayz. As long as the weapon is a legitimate type, I don't care if other players pick up hacked weapons, as long as they're not hacking themselves.

No, it's not possible for you to remove it, and you shouldn't play on servers with it. It's a hack that somebody ran that will kill you at a random moment.

Armaholic mirror works fine for me and offers a 960MB zip file, haven't tried the others.
