True but they're not considering taking it out for the mod. I like the change since it's a damn cool skin and will encourage people to kill each other. Wait, wha... nevertheless I want dat skin.

The latest changelog says they are making the pistols do more damage. They should make the revolver fire faster though, I guess they were trying to strike a balance between the long double-action pull and the light single-action pull which can't really be shown in a game.

Even 72 sounds like a lot to me... 150 sounds like a meat grinder. More zombies would be a better idea than players. Maybe it could be used for truly large hordes. I don't know enough about how this works, though.

I tried recording tonight, didn't turn out too well, sorry for the 240p, it's the only way I can record. There were some bandits who had set up an ambush, I killed one, another was hiding in a crane where this video starts. I hit him on the first shot and he ran around to the other side where I could only see a tiny bit of his body, and only when he decided to stand up. I missed a couple times, hit him again... but it didn't end the way I thought it would. This is the only sniping I've caught on film, and therefore the greatest sniping I've caught on film.

In my daydreams, I envision a DayZ where the vehicles are portrayed as accurately as in flight sims... ^_^ not a feasible proposition, but still... nice to imagine.

I know the Germans used a few double-barreled shotguns with special made explosive rounds... I believe the shell was designed for issue to the Volkssturm in the late stages of the war, I think the shotguns were just whatever they had lying around but I could be wrong. Can't remember the details... hmm.

This server actually sounds like it could be fun for a bit of a romp :lol: someone should head in with Fraps on the whole time, would make for a good video.

The only people I have a problem with are the backstabbers. Dirty low-down mumble mumble....... <_<

I assume he means that deploying a bipod will steady the weapon, like in ACE (oh dear, dear ACE). It helps tremendously with long-range sniping and it makes machine guns much more effective. However in ACE it also reduces the amount you can turn the weapon from side to side (field of fire? Terminology blank here), and you can't move at all without having to redeploy the bipod.

I wait until they get a gun before shooting them.
