    Buzzards flying over dead bodies.

So any news if this will make it into the game?

    Buzzards flying over dead bodies.

I do find Ravens more haunting in a way with their noises. But either way, it fits into the idea of a scavenger finding its dead meal.

    Buzzards flying over dead bodies.

I like the post of them following dying players!

    Buzzards flying over dead bodies.

Ok here are some expanded ideas on this: The Buzzards would only appear RANDOMLY after a body has been deceased for X amount of in game hours and for specific bodies, not ALL bodies. The Buzzards will only spawn in wooded areas more commonly and will rarely spawn inside more populated areas. If you still want to set up an ambush area, and the Buzzards have started flying in the area. You can shoot at them to make them disperse. Killing a Buzzard will grant you scavenger meet. BUT, there would be a chance of contracting a form of illness from its carnivore like nature. The Buzzards will be visible from approx 1500 Meters away. And the sounds can be heard from only 35 meters. Their life span will only last for 1-2 in game hours and then the birds will disperse automatically.

    Buzzards flying over dead bodies.

When ever you drive long the countryside in the real world. You may see these birds flying in a circle in the distance. usually that is due to them finding something that is dead for them to scavenge. Now, I already know that the buzzing of flies indicates that there is a body in the area. But that only happens when you are pretty much right on it... What if when you are roaming the woods; you look up and see Buzzards flying in circles in the distance? That would give you the idea that somebody has died in that area.before you are right on top of it. Also it should only happen in the wooded areas. Cities do not really have these birds in them much.

    Bruising from repetitive gun fire.

Very true. Very true... Come to think of it, when your heart starts pounding when you fight for you life, your hands start to shake. That pretty much takes place of my idea.

    Bruising from repetitive gun fire.

That is coming from personal experience mostly. Repetitive motion injury is a real thing. If you do fire a weapon for hours on end and even not properly hold a higher powered weapon, you can bruise your shoulder.

    Bruising from repetitive gun fire.

Since we are all civilians in the game, not all of them will be accustomed to the constant recoil of a weapon. After a period of time their bodies could be come bruised by the constant kick when you fire it too much. What if in the standalone, firing a weapon over and over and over again will start to bruise your shoulder and effect your accuracy and ability to hold the weapon steady?! This would make a bandit think twice before attacking everything in site and make you question "is attracting a hoard of Infected worth the stress?"

    Urban Legends.

Should the world of DayZ have its own urban legends like we do in our world? Like Bigfoot, UFO's, etc. What if they were all created to fit the lore of DayZ and make it feel unique and possible to witness. What if there was a legend of a glowing Hopper Zombie that treks through the heavily wooded areas to the south east at night time! Imagine seeing a slow moving-glowing Zombie for a split second; only for it to route a tree and vanish! THAT would be AWESOME!

What if... Chernarus and surrounding lands are in quarantine?

Of even if one of the soldiers became infected! There is another thing. What if Chernarus is surrounded by high walls? Like in Doomsday. There would be loads of writings that describe the situation like in Left 4 Dead, and pictures of lost loved ones... Maybe even a developer PSA about a Bandit spotlight? They would give us a warning of that person!

What if we removed the crosshair?

People can still figure out exactly where it is centered. Then they would simply place a piece of tape to have it as their crosshair... How about just giving us the option to turn it on or off? Or even server specific.

What if... Chernarus and surrounding lands are in quarantine?

Another think I just thought of... What if there was some kind of RUMOR generator in the servers? As in, when ever a player explores and comes across some kind of environmental clue, it tells him/her a little rumor about some loot, another environmental narrative location, or a general explanation of what supposedly happened.

What if... Chernarus and surrounding lands are in quarantine?

That is a general idea. But I would like to see something newer than that. Make the player believe that it is better here than out there, make them believe that to go out there is sheer suicide.
