Hello everyone, Recently some friends and I rented a Vilayer server to mess around on. We're currently running Epoch Chernarus with some basic scripts (auto-refuel, debug, etc), my question is this: Why is our server running Panthera 2.9? Using the playwithSix launcher when we connect to our server it also loads Panthera 2.9 and appears on the top right with the other mods. I can bypass the problem by changing the Signature Checks to 0 instead of 2 but what I need to do is figure out why it's even running Panthera in the first place. I have gone ahead and set the sig check to 0 and when we connect it works great no errors no lagg and it is indeed Chernarus - not Panthera. What happens if we connect with Signature Checks set to 2? We get kicked for using Panthera.. Anyhow I figured the community would be a better approach then registering an account of my own and submitting a ticket to Vilayer which due to the nature of this issue probably won't result in an answer that resolves my problem. For people who actually do work and have lives that don't revolve around a game, I'm sure the delay doesn't really effect your day to day. Unlike this fool quoted above. I play on a server that's like a ghost town. It's ideal for learning the game I guess but I'm growing bored of being the only one looting high-risk areas even though I haven't got a fancy AS50 I'd sure love to take pot shots at someone with the CZ 550. That said, I have searched high and low and have not found a heli crash site in a combined 40 hours+ of surviving. (obviously I died a few times lol.) I found a ghillie suit in a church, believe it or not lol. I've also found 3 camping tents so far, 2 in grocery stores 1 in a church as well. Best gun so far I'd say.. uhm.. MP5SD / M9SD both I found in the hangers at NWAF not even the barracks. I've also come across towns with grocery stores that are completely empty, but the rest of the town has loot. Any thoughts? Just wondering, thanks. OH I also found a GPS which I understand is rather rare? Subsequently it "disappeared" or was looted from my tent in the middle of freaking no where.

Off topic but I thought I'd ask while this thread is still being watched. I set up a tent in the middle of no where, incredibly difficult to find again but within the boundaries of the map. I had set down a wheel, map and a couple AK-74 Kobra' and a couple ALICE packs and a Czech pack with food all over the place. Anyway, long story short, it all disappeared. This common bug or you think it was literally all looted?

Lol ok so I want to play so bad I fixed it myself. It really all depends what you are using to play DayZ, not specifically what you are launching it with but how you got it. For example if you are using Steam, to manually update the BEServer / Client you need to put them into a VERY specific folder. For Windows 7 meaning like you bought a copy at the store and you don't use steam it has it's own directory to be placed in. Here is the link that helped me, I hope it solves all your problems! Hello, I have been playing on CA #28 through DayZ Commander. I was playing 100% fine up until today. I changed absolutely nothing. When I wait in the lobby it initializes 1.174 (no idea), I previously had already manually put the BE Server and Client in the Arma folder generated by steam. Bohemia Interactive > ArmA > = BEClient.dll and BEServer.dll - furthermore I have done the same thing and just downloaded them again and replaced them. I have DISABLED my windows firewall, manually replaced with the only versions I can see available on the battleye site. It fails to update. I realize that many of you are experiencing this and I am throwing my frustrations and thoughts into this in hopes that we find a solution that adamantly resolves this. I'm running Windows 7, PC specs are more then fine for this game. Runs like a dream. Well apart from zombies glitching through walls or staircases and killing themselves, but that's not my PC ;) Lol.
