40, 1500+ hours, no pvp except in self defense Edit: Back in the day there was an fps called Enemy Territory, and the OFC or Old Farts Clan. Someone should use the name. Most of this thread could join. http://www.ofclan.com/

Death by pitchfork? That was totally uncalled for, fucking brutal. Yes! Not an ounce of fat on that status report! Wow Like everyone else, small object manipulation caught me off guard. So many possibilities! \m/

"As I can tell your excitement is at the maximum level possible I feel it's a good time to water it down a bit." DID NOT WORK, SIR

Great news! I assumed my base vanished due to bugginess because I only left it for a couple hours after setting it up. Full car tent, partially full mil tent, and a campfire with 10 loose logs lying around it. But this news (Zero pitched tents have been cleaned up) means it's more likely that someone took the tents. The game dutifully cleaned up the firewood and whatever else the marauding varmints left for me to frown at.

Fixing things before adding new stuff is backwards. Add things, then fix what breaks. Repeat. "The alpha phase usually ends with a feature freeze, indicating that no more features "will be added to the software. At this time, the software is said to be feature complete." -- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_release_life_cycle

1. Yes. With Fragnet it's a simple drop-down box. Stop the server, choose a start time, restart the server. Done. 2. No.

The nuclear option worked (reinstall).

Yes, updated to 0.55.127157. It successfully validated the cache in Steam. Not sure what else to do. No one has connected to the server since it became available in the server browser post-update. Master -- 69.31.134.66:2502 Slave -- 69.31.134.10:2302

About an hour after Fragnet started up my servers post-update, 1 master and 1 slave shard, I still got that message: "Bad version, server rejected connection." After another two hours, they blamed loot. "...the only resolution currently confirmed working is the deletion of the loot storage file." They say a lot of their customers had this issue today. The resolution didn't work for me. Does anyone have a potential fix? Thanks

What is going on? - "Bec Service has been terminated."
dedoolb replied to Valdenburg's topic in Servers
 Should all server owners expect BEC to terminate? Or is that up to the GSP? I don't know how nuxil licensed BEC, etc... Thanks NVM! Map the ibattle domains to loopback -
Nevermind! Validating my steam cache fixed it. :/
