    new chernobyl map idea

    CHERNOBYL MAP: below is the story of my idea for a chernobyl map in dayz in 1986 the chernobyl nuclear reactor blew up releasing radioactive particles and toxic fumes into the air over the course of a few weeks the radioactive particles spread over europe even as far as the UK and ireland....................only a few survived forced to survive in gasmasks and defend themselves against the crazed inhabitants of chernobyl the survivors are forced to hide in the sewers and subway stations..........can YOU survive. CHERNOBYL SPAWN IDEA: each chernobyl server could be limited to 10 people each person would spawn in a subway station or a sewer at a small hideout with storage boxes a few cans of beans and a bed where you can sleep. note: you dont need gasmask in sewer or metro. note: THIS IS ORIGINAL i used the search function
  2. did you all forget? dead people dont reanimate in dayz. people only reanimate if they got killed by undead, zombies in dayz are fast and alive. by the way OP this would only work if you turned into a zed after getting bitten.

    just no. stingers, javelins and LAW rockets would just make the pvp crisis worse. aswell as snipers we would have bloody rocket spammers blowing every chopper out of the sky.

(1) i would like to see seasons in the game such as winter. winter: animals will go into hibernation, the infected will become more agressive, hunger and thirst will go down faster, players will need to find warm clothes build shelters and stock up on food to survive, and the infected will take to the forests and fields in search of food. (sorry i cannot think of any good ideas for other seasons) (2) add character building. every player would choose what they want to wear when they start such as hoodies, jackets, cargo pants, shemaghs, helmets, tactical vests, bullet proof vests, (helmets and vests are merely cosmetic) (3) make cars alot more common and mainly in good condition but without keys or fuel. keys can be found in nearby houses or dead zombies. rewire kits (very rare) could be used to hotwire cars if a player had no keys and smashed the window to get in. (smashing car windows results in alarm going off attracting infected while you are hot wiring the car) (4) i would like to see basic climbing in the game. nothing like assassins creed climbing. just grabbing window ledges and pulling your self in or climbing head high walls or vaulting high fences. (5) add the abillity to boost another player over a very high fence or wall. this would be fairly good reason to team up to reach fenced off areas or climb in an upstairs window. if a fence was barbed at the top one player could put a jacket or hoodie over the wire to climb up safely. (6) add horses in the standalone. at first horses would not always follow your commands but over time your horse will get used to you and follow your commands and follow you around. players would have to feed their horse and bring it to troughs and lakes to drink and sometimes groom their horse. (7) when dogs are added in the standalone add the possibilty for dogs to have pups with eachother. if the pups were not of pure bred parents then he pups would not be as healthy as a pure bred dog and more likely to catch a disease such as rabies. (8) in the standalone add rabid dogs that willl attack you and try to bite you (you can kick the dog away if you dont have a gun) if you are bitten by rabid dog you ust find a cure or antibiotics or you will die. (9) add stealth kills so if you come up behind a zombie/human you can plunge a knife into their neck and drag their bodie away. for humans a counter kill is available if you are fast enough you can grab the knife and stick it into your attacker. (10) add the abillity to punch and kick for unarmed players. (11) spawn each player with a notebook and a pencil which would allow players to detail their experience or tair out a page and stick it on a tree as a message or a sort of treasure map. thoughts? (no flaming or abuse please)

    Horses

    good idea but you dont need a saddle to ride a horse.

(1) add oil rigs at sea which would contain a small infected crew and a medical bay a cafeteria a room filled with bunk beds and fuel storage containers. once the infected on board are killed they no longer respawn there making it possible to fortify the oil rig and use it as a base. (the oil rig is far out at sea which would stop snipers camping on the oil rig and shooting new spawns) (2) add modern citys with medium skyscrapers and modern apartment buildings and tire shops fruit shops phone shops abandoned cars barricaded apartments and plenty of infected nesting in the buildings. (3) have herbs nettles and other plants that can be mashed up and made into medicine but you need a herb/plant book to know which are poisenous and which are used as cures for different illnessess. (4) add waterfalls, caves crevices and cliffs at the edge of the coast similar to the giants causeway in northern ireland and the coast in england. (5) add the need to sleep. if you dont sleep when you need to your aim will become wobbly and you will eventually go unconsious. this would make bases and camps actually have a purpose other then storing loot. if you slept without blankets or a tent or a sleeping bag you can become very cold and even get sick if it rains while you are asleep. (6) zombies should not charge into buildings whenever they hear you. they should look in the window and see whats in there and if they see you they will attack. (7) add blankets sheets and curtains so if you are exploring a building or even using it as a hideout you can block the windows to prevent prying eyes peeking in as you sleep. (8) add more melee weapons such as machetes pipes kitchen knives and katanas. but reduce the spawns of firearms as it appears chernarus has tons of guns what is this americarus?. (9) add ww2 weapons such as the mauser kar 98 and the ppsh and the tokerev (mauser left over from invasion of russia in ww2). (10) have more survivor skins if not character customisation. i have a few suggestions for survivor skins below. black hoodie with a gasmask. u.s digital camo pants and black boots. a shirt with rolled up sleeves and jeans. a leather jacket and grey cargo pants. (11) add shelter building, survival knives, life jackets and solar torches. thoughts?
  16. i recently watched life after people and thought it would be good to see chernarus overgrown and decayed with little supplies and many zombies. (1) have grass growng through the roads and pathways and have large cracks and creeper vines growing in houses. (2) have barricades made in the streets with expended magazines and bullet cartridges everywhere. (3) have abandoned houses with boarded up windows and barricaded doors. (4)have abandoned military convoys and destroyed forests. (5) add the possibilty of forest fires. (6) since many nuclear reactors would be exploded/melted down nearby water sources would be undrinkable unless you had water purification tablets or boiled the water. (7) radiation suits and/or gasmasks would be needed to explore some areas. thoughts?

  18. yes it would be good. imagine it. you are sitting at your table in your bunker and you hear an explosion. you grab your ak and find a hole in the wall of your bunker and six guys are rushing in. you take down two of them but retreat to the storeroom of bunker where they break in and kill you just for shitz and gigglez

    faction war servers.

    faction war servers, list of ideas. (factions) in each faction war server there would be 4 groups and 4 leaders the leaders would be randomly selected and could change the name of their group. each group would spawn in a random hideout building such as factory/hospital/shopping centre/police station/military base. (base building) if the group leader was not happy with the groups spawning base he could leave the base with his group and build another base. see below for extra information. (1) every leader would have a clipboard with different sections such as barricades, group members group messages, maps pictures and group supplies list. (2) in the barricades section a list would pop up showing the barricades the leader could place depending on the resources available to the group. once the leader had selected a barricade he could fly the camera over his base and place the barricades. wooden planks and metal sheets: can be turned in any direction and placed on windows and doors. tables chairs beds sofas and book shelves: can be placed anywhere in the base as decoration or for barricading purposes. sand bags and bricks: can be used to make bunkers and walls. trip mines and claymores: can be placed in doorways and on floors. blankets sheets and curtains: can be used to cover windows to prevent other players and zombies looking in. (supplies managment) each group has a small amount food when the start so the first thing a group leader should do is order his men to get much needed food barricading supplies and weapons. but all of these will be very rare so the groups will be locked in a constant struggle to survive. if a group member returns with supplies he can put it in the group storage room for rationing and distribution. (restoring power plants and water treatment plants.) if a group wishes to provide water or electricity to an area they can find the right tools to capture and restore a power plant/water plant. (takes 1 ingame week) (lone players) if a player wamnts to he can choose to not join a group and go alone or with other survivors. (trading) if a group has a base a member can set up a part of the base as a trade post or a bare/cafe to trade with other members of the group or lone survivors who stop by. thats it for now. my apologies for terrible grammar punctuation or walls of text.
