  15. i like the town hubs idea but only if the towns were defended by players.........AND rocket has said so himself that the zombies in dayz are not undead they are 28 days later style zombies

    melee weapon ideas

    there are far too many guns in this game so i have ideas for more melee focused weapons. machete: can be put in a scabbard does not take up primary or secondary weapon space. homade: spear: can break easily may get stuck inside a zombie can be freed by tapping F to twist it out. swords: may be found in museums can be put in scabbard. mini hatchets: can preform a quick kill move animation where the player swings the hatchet into a zombies head. pitchforks: can kill zombies in a single hit. may impale the user if the user is sprinting with pitchfork in hand. chairs: break easily do minimal damage to zombies. metal pipes: can smash skulls easily.. double chainsaws tied to a pole: think dead rising. pickaxes: easy to use can kill zombies or collapse they're chest in a single hit. hammers: light effective. sledge hammers: heavy hard to use deals high damage. thats all

    this idea would make banditry easier as big groups of friends just spawn right beside eachother and go on a noob killing fest
  18. this is list of ideas i think should be added to dayz. OUTFIT 1: a coyote coloured jacket and pants with a gasmask and a large coyote backpack. OUTFIT 2: a hooded brown trenchcoat with a balaclava and a ww2 russian backpack. OUTFIT 3: a shemagh with a black hoodie and u.s army urban digital camo pants. OUTFIT 4: a leather jacket and a white shirt with jeans and work boots. OUTFIT 5: a russian military uniform. OUTFIT 6: a white office shirt with rollled up sleeves a black bullet proof vest and a modern u.s military gasmask.. LOCATIONS. LOCATION IDEA 1: old subway stations with different entrances . these could be barricaded to use as a hideout. LOCATION IDEA 2: abandoned military safe zones with numerous military zombies. LOCATION IDEA 3: container ships at sea. LOCATION IDEA 4: underground government bunker with armories. MELEE WEAPONS. MACHETE: can kill infected in a single hit blow. can kill humans in 2 hits. PIPES: can knock players unconsious kills in 3 hits. CHAIR LEGS: effective. kills zombies in 4 hits: SWORDS: can be found in museums. kills humans and zombies in a single hit: TOMAHAWKS: kills zombies with 1 hit or throw kills humans in 1 hit or throw: BASE BUILDING. BASE IDEA 1: let players fortify any building with planks sheets of metal and furniture. BASE IDEA 2: these hideouts could be used to sleep or store gear. zombies could attack the hideout if the player is chased back to his base. BASE IDEA 3: bandits could break in and loot the gear: BASE IDEA 4: the owner of the base could get furniture cooking supplies and stoves and place them in his house. LINGOR ISLAND SUGGESTION. MALARIA: can be contracted from being in the jungle for too long. can help if the player uses bug spray.
