pc build question

I am building a i5 2500k quad core 3.3Ghz with 8gigs of ram i will be using the intel HD 3000 what FPS do you think i would get off of that?

Crap, since you will be using an onboard graphics card.

Yes Onboard graphics are getting semi decent...but they aren't made to game with yet....not powerful enough.

That graphics chip will not be very useful for gaming, watching movies is about all it will be good for.

Spend the extra couple hundred and get 'something' in there, GTX460 goes very cheap now, and will be enough for Arma2 / DayZ.

(of course spending more would be beneficial).

Why would you not want to put a dedicated graphics card in that build Chris?

Is it that your budget has been spent on the build as it is or are you hoping the new onboard graphics are up to the job?

well i want to get a gtx 550 or better sooner or later but i was just wondering if the build in gpu would be good enough and by good enough i mean 20-30 fps
