Is Dayz free

Hi everyone.

My question is, Is Dayz free to play after the purchase of Arma2 and CO. I feel as though I'm locked out of some options and servers, gratefull for any advise.

Hi,

Yes, completely free. Are you using DayZ Commander to launch the game? I find this gives better server results, based on the fact I play with some dudes that were using the 6launcher and they weren't able to find many of the servers that I could see.

Can you describe your problems with more detail?

Yes it's completely free, don't do research and just try to launch it normally.

Get Dayz Commander, update everything, and you will be set.

I used to keep Dayz up to date manually until the new maps started showing up.. then I realized that DC kicked ass.

You can even hunt other players with the server filters. It's awesome!! ;)

It is a mod, so yes.
