M249 scope?

Hi, I was just messing around on my computer when my brother says he has found an awesome LMG. We looked it up on the DayZ wiki and had a look (we are fairly new to Dayz). He said he found an M429 with a scope. We checked many other sites but nothing was there. He logged in and showed me the weapon. I'm just wondering if this is legit or a hacked weapon. Some of the mags were half full so someone had dropped it, and also he found it in a supermarket. What do you think?

P.S We don't hack
