Just a thought,

Where the hell is all the booze? Empty whiskey bottles are everywhere, don't tell me the entire population of Chenarus promptly skulked EVERY bottle of booze. An extremely rare drop of booze would be nice.

Also the ability to poison a drink food or bandage would be nice too. It would allow double crosses on a level not currently available. If items are now truly objects then food, drinks, and bandages could be poisoned. A rare spawning plant could be harvested for berries that could be processed into a poison that could be applied to the items. Also multiple packets of painkillers could be able to be added to items as well for a similar effect.

Just my two cents worth.

Alcohol - why?

And poison - No. It would just be used to troll people. Go to Cherno supermarket and poison all the food. Yaaay!

Totally agreed.

Interesting idea, but not feasible for a game that is already horrifically overrun with trolls and hackers.

I'm sure if integrated there would be a hacker script that would: food= poison(all)

Abuse and trolling is easy to reduce by simply having a time limit on how long goods stay poisoned/alcohol soaked. THis would mean it would only be feasible for those who plan to get close and use such a feature correctly.

You could also use alcohol socially within the game as a means of increasing humanity or to show that you are "friendly". Naturally it would have to have an affect on players using it frequently such as slowing htem down or affecting aim/balance etc. to prevent abuse and as a decent counter balance.

I think it's a good idea.

poisoning canned food? unless it's radiation I see no way for an average joe not to see a hole in the can from which the poison was introduced

i'd see this turning into the fallout system where if you took a chem such as jet or something you had a chance of getting addicted to it meaning you had to find some kind addiction remover or just find more of the drug alcohol for example , seeing this implemented would make me pretty happy seeing people going ape shit for some hooch.

-just going to edit this in maybe signing off in a drunk state could make your player wake up disorientated missing some gear or in a weird situation like out in the ocean or next to a pine tree,

Pretty much what I was thinking....

I would also say that if your in shock/pain you could drink the alcohol to ease the pain....

Did it back in the day :D so why not in a zombie apocalypse
