EXTREMELY irritating bug that doesn't go away

Every time I log out and in all the stuff in my primary and secondary ammo slot disappears, will it be beans, ammo, ANYTHING. I figured out that if I put my ammo in my backpack it doesn't disappear. Please tell me I'm not the only one?

Remove dayz completely (just delete the @dayz folder) and reinstall it.

I've had it happen to me once in the past. I don't know if it's the only solution, but deleting and reinstalling did work for me.

I'll try through six updater or that other dayz thingy. I downloaded the DayZ mod through another source so it's a bit dodgy

DayzCommander should be your only launcher/updater. Six-updater was made by preschoolers.

Yea happened to me when Fallujah first came out and even after downloading the map from multiple sources it still failed to fix until the version was on Dayz Commander. It was fixed after that but you could always try to re install the mod and game itself to fix the problem. This bug almost made me quit, I was about a day away from never playing Fallujah again (not that big of a deal but had a bad week in terms of hackers and admins). Terrible bug and hope you are able to fix it, use Dayz commander it seems to be more user friendly than Play with Six.

I'm busy downloading it through the torrent link provided on the site, because I can't find the proper download link of six updater and DayZ commander doesn't work. Thanks for the help thus far everyone. There's also this bug where if you right click on an item to use it the pop up menu disappears instantly so you have to click at an extreme speed to use an item. Do you know the feeling of having no ammo, storming into a barn, trying to equip my hatchet but the pop up disappears too fast. I shat bricks

Correction, six updater is made for lots of different mods. DayZ commander is made purely for DayZ.

Man that is the exact same problem I had (menu was messed up and all gear not in backpack would delete), honestly it fixed after I downloaded the files again. Do not know why Dayz commander will not work for you but you could always download it again. Don't download shoddy links if you can avoid it (sometimes you can not if you want to get into a new map early) but you could always try to just download everything over again to repair the problem.
