DesolateChris (DayZ) 48 Posted October 9, 2012 I've pretty much done everything I can think of. I've reinstalled battleye, reinstalled DayZ, but ever since the latest 1.180 update, it won't even come up-to-date.I was playing DayZ when the update came out, and so I was kicked off the game. I rejoined the lobby and let battleye update from 1.179. After that as I was rejoining the game, for about 15 minutes I was constantly kicked for "WinAPI #13" along with several other people.I then managed to play for about 2 minutes before I got kicked because of some stupid thing about Takistan that keeps happening. Ever since that, whenever I join a lobby, my battleye 1.180 will initialize but will not tell me that it is up-to-date?Help.
Mayuyu 411 Posted October 9, 2012 Hello! This could potentially be a router issue now, it sounds little similar to a problem my friend has fixed and I have helped others with. You should update your routers firmware manually, which you can download from your manufacturers website usually. If that doesn't work, allow DayZ through your routers port forwarding. And if THAT doesn't work, If you aren't using DayZ Commander, try downloading updates with that.I hope you best of luck fixing your issue. Ever since that, whenever I join a lobby, my battleye 1.180 will initialize but will not tell me that it is up-to-date?Help.As Mayuyu stated, a router issue is a possibility.Anyway, first off, manually update BattlEye. Though I have not experienced this, apparently it works for some other people to merely manually update BE.T'is what works for me.Do you have any interest in playing Takistan? If not, delete all of the files related to it. If you do have an interest in playing it at any point in time in the future, then use DayZ commander to reinstall Takistan. The idea is much like verifying the cache of a game via Steam.I always, when BattlEye brings out a new update, have a problem similar to "whenever I join a lobby, my battleye 1.180 will initialize but will not tell me that it is up-to-date".After being notified by BattlEye that 1.180 is initialized, do you click 'OK' in the game lobby? If so, cease doing that. Postpone doing so for approximately 5-10 minutes. IF you are not kicked for BattlEye not updating properly ["BattlEye failed to update"], then click OK. It may let you play.IF you become stuck on loading, then ignore the former paragraph, and do this: Change profiles. [Or create a new one if that is a necessity for the change.] Strangely enough, this has worked for me in the past. Now, if all else fails...patience is the key. Leave it for a few days. Sometimes, time is all it needs. Edited October 9, 2012 by Inception.
