Flying helis during a server restart

I'm wondering what happens to the heli on a server restart when it is being flown in the air? Both passengers spawned back on the ground but the heli is nowhere to be seen :(

Everything (players and chop) will spawn back on the ground where the server saved their position last time. Usually (my experience says 90% of the times), the position where the heli has been saved is different than the one saved for the players. Check where you landed last time eventually, and the route you took before the restart... if you don't find it, there's a possibility that it "landed" in the sea (if you flew above it).

The server reset over a forest and we didn't see the chopper, so I guess we'll go back to where we landed. Thanks

I went back to where I saved "mine" but it wasn't there. Oh well, I'll find it again.
