hero-skin & ghillie-suit

i am close to 5K humanity and wearing a ghillie-suit + an ALICE-pack. now, when i reach 5K and get the hero-skin: will it affect my backpack or the ghillie-suit? will it change automatically from ghillie to the hero-skin?

i know about the bug, where changing the skin will reset your backpack to the coyote-backpack...

any idea?

It works like this, When you achieve your Hero skin everything in your backpack is fine. When you put on a ghillie suit with the hero skin it will erase everything in your backpack but you'll keep your backpack. What you need to do is drop your backpack, then put on the ghillie suit, then pick up your back pack again. To get the hero skin back on, simply drop your backpack again, put on civilian clothing, pickup your backpack, then re log. You now have your hero skin back.

the question is: when i reach 5K humanity, will i keep my ghillie + the ALICE-pack with all the equipment? or will it AUTOMATICALLY change the skin and the backpack (i wanna keep my ghillie on)?

When you hit 5k humanity, if you are wearing a ghillie or camo skin, they will remain and nothing will change in your backpack. when you next die and respawn, you will be at the coast in a hero skin. If you swap to civilian clothing from the ghillie now you will be in hero gear instead of survivor I believe, but as said take backpack off first before you swap.

Man this is so much trouble that when I get a ghillie I'm just gonna shoot some poor guy on the coast to lose the hero skin
