P1nbaK 4 Posted October 7, 2012 Hey all, I havent been around for a while (a good 2 months or so) But anyway, I logged in where I previously was before up in the NW Airfield and decided to make my way north a bit and explore around and see if I met up with anyone. Well I get to this HUUUUUGE field that looks like a great sniper area. I was waiting for my friend to log in so I just decided to hang out and wait around and spot sit with my thermal. I go into my map and set a marker on the map for >< relatively close to where I was. Then not even 2 minutes goes passed and a huge black bus spawns literally 5 feet away from my right, revving its engine as it spawns. Considering i'm playing by myself and under the influence of....stuff. I nearly shit myself when it happened lol I didn't really stick around to investigate considering the spot I was in didn't really seem like a "normal' place for a bus to be spawning. They're spawning this right next to you and killing you everywhere instantly.Just try to stay on low population servers, as they always want to harm as much people as possible. otherd 5 Posted October 8, 2012 When You place a marker everyone on "your team" sees it. Since in Dayz everyone is on blue team, everyone on the server can see the marker on their map. So this hacker didn't need the nav hack to see where you were, it just let them know your location. Still putting a marker on a map is an invitation for company of hacker sort or legit bandits.
