jumpinman174 0 Posted October 7, 2012 I've noticed that when you go in-doors and shut the door behind you zombies can still walk through. I know this is a bug but I cool fix to it would be to add a durability to the door. Depending on the amount of zombies trying to get in the door could be broken within a few seconds or take anywhere up to 30 seconds. This would allow players to set up a defensive position or sneak out through another door. What are your thoughts on this idea?
KEOUGH 32 Posted October 7, 2012 Probably implemented into the standalone, no doubt.
liquidcactus 719 Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) I have thought this many times.. I'm sure doors will have durability in the standalone, its a pretty important feature that has much character for a game like this Edited October 7, 2012 by liquidcactus
Michaelvoodoo25 3120 Posted October 7, 2012 If they worked like They are meant to then they will be fine in the SA. I know Rocket is making the Zeds able to run inside buildings so those buildings with fixed open doors will be an issue to the game. What I would be disappointed with is when you shut a door and they still come in, That would kill some aspect of play for me I would like to think Zeds are stupid and would sooner break a door down as opposed to turning the handle (handle type considered) If i shut a door, I would expect Zeds to knock and howl until either they got in or I left. Its just a shame we cannot adjust furniture in game to build a barricade to prevent Zeds access to our lonely shivering scared corpses.
