Missing Textures/Dayz_Addon requires casigns2

Recommended Posts

Hello there guys. I've seen other threads like this, but none of them have helped me.

I've just switched pcs about three weeks ago to a much better one, but now I can't get DayZ working for shit. And it's really infuriating me, because it's a darn good mod. Here's the low-down- I've got both games (ARMA 2 and ARMA 2: OA) on steam, not retail they are both steam versions. When I install the games and install the patch (http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php), then update everything via Six Launcher or DayzCommander (I've tried both) I get an error that says - " Addon " DayZ_Anim " Requires addon " CASigns2 "

Here's a picture for reference.

Then, it continues. When it automatically launches the game for me, it goes into the DayZ server waiting screen for a brief second then I get this -

Cannot load texture

ca/chernarus/data/ui_selectisland_chernarus_ca.paa

Then I just get put back into the main menu, and that's that. I can run single player on both games just fine, I really don't know what's going on. Please help me because I'm sick of being unable to play such a great mod, even though vanilla ARMA is a godly game. Anyone with experience in this please help, I seriously wish I had the knowledge to do it myself and not pester people but I've had enough lol.

Thank you those who help, cheers.

Okay, I may have a fix for you.

I have retail Arma 2 and Steam OA and I thought it only applied to that, but I may be wrong.

When I have gotten that error in the past I have copied everything from the addons folder in Arma 2, and pasted it in the Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead folder called common.

It's like 8ish gb of .pbo files and shit.

Hmm, I'll give that a go. I was told to do that, but just put them in the main oa folder which may have been the problem lol. I'll pop them all in the common folder.

Nope, it didn't work. I tried putting all the files into the common folder, then I tried just placing the addons folder into common. Neither worked for me, gah. Any other ideas for fixes guys?
