What do I need downloaded to play?

All I need downloaded & installed is Arma II, & Arma II OA?

My net went to shit, took me 4 hours to download Arma II..probably won't finished downloading OA until tomorrow..

i know, right. there is no tutorial on the damn site on how to install from scratch if you dont have the base games. i watched youtube stuff, got steam, that Play withSIX setup, and still not completely sure. no info on servers either. fukin joke.

WTF are you talking about? There are 2 ways to install it on the website....Sixupdater or DayZcommander.....Or you could just install it manually, just like you install other arma mods.

Also it is pretty damn easy to install.

1: Unpack the files

2: Enable the files

3: play

Or for the noobs

1:Install DayZcommander

2:play

If you hang on a few minutes, I can probably find some grapes and cheese for your whine. Or would you rather like some crackers?

i tried both and personally like DayZ Commander better, friends list, server filters, easy updates, recent servers joined history...

Like everyone is saying, DayZ Commander is probably the easiest way to get you up and playing after you download Arma 2 and OA.

yea, that post was started by a member back in may, and its not even a sticky. the main file site doesnt tell you you have to make folders and stuff, so that add more to the confusion if its still neccessary. so pipe down, Tweakie.

You don't need a video... Download DayZ Commander and click install on that, that's all you need to do
