How come every time I try to take a screen shot in Dayz the picture just comes back all black?

Use MSI AfterBurner or Fraps.

I really cannot think of any more info that might help you help me. I try to take a screen shot in game (print screen) and when I go to paste it in paint it comes back as just an all black screen.

I'll read that article so thanks for posting.

Just another idea, I started taking "screen shots" with my phone as it is a super quick way to email or message it to someone. Usually I am taking a picture to send it to someone and show them something so that works best for me.
