Nelorzoul 0 Posted June 14, 2012 I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but I'm a total noob to Dayz, let alone Arma II itself. What is Beta? I occasionally see servers that support beta and whatnot so I assumed that Beta was a newer version of Dayz or something. Apparently, however, this "beta" is like a version of Arma or something. What's the point of using it? Should I have it installed? I'd appreciate some clarification if possible :o
Ravenspear 22 Posted June 14, 2012 The 'beta' is referring to the latest beta patch of ArmA II. Starting with 1.7.1, apparently, it will be required for all users to download and install it. Information on doing so can be found here. If you need any more help with getting it to work properly with DayZ, shoot me a pm and I'll see if I can help you out.
