I´m as many players just playing to survive and i dont intend to shoot other players, however when you spot someone you dont always know what he is going to do.

Or that when people are thinking you are a thread they open fire.

VOIP helps but wont assure safety

What about 2 animations you can do like :

WAVE; show the other player you dont intend to harm him.

HANDS UP; When you get surrounded and you think your going to die surrender and maybe talk about it :).

There is already a surrender action.

Check the bottom of the Controls.

There is already an animation for this, I don't think it has a default shortcut key, like the GPS.

The player will put his hands behind his head when stood up, going prone will make your character stretch his arms out forward.
