Changing game parameters on windows 7 to continue loading while minimized

The title says it all, what steps do I need to take to make loading dayz/arma 2 OA contine while while its minimized, since loading takes a very long time for some reason

I believe the parameter is -nopause, but I dont know where to put it

No, a server that typically loads within 2-3 min wont load at all while its minimized,

Ive left it minimized for over 20 minutes and it will still be stuck at loading
