Bored, Game concept is perfect.

Bugs like tent duping, overkill on weapons, big weapons.

Suckers that relocate on other server and spawn behind you.

Lag of fair players, bandit or "friendly"

lag of realisme in terms of fortifications, means of hiding your stuff.

Arma 3 will probably be a better option for realising this mod.

Another "new" problem is the LIVE administrating of servers.

Seems to be a new proffesion maybe really soon, maybe when servers will grow to 250 players problems like hacking will also be a bigger problem. Thats why i prefer privat hives and let the privat owners figure out ways of ruling there server. This will also again bring a new challenge, different setups of dayz, different updates with different new items and options added to the game.

I did it because of all the hackers and the Private Hives. Most servers that have a decent amount of people are private and I don't want to start new in every single server I go to but I like to change my experience and don't want to go to the same server with the same people. The private hives are irritating.

The whole concept of these privat hives needas some time my friend, in a while the privat hives will get more servers with different setups of there Dayz connected to one DataBAse, so there will be also more server you can go to and still have your character.

The ,what i understand is now legit, privat hives are there 3 or 4 days.

Solving the hacker problem is only possible if people have to register as some sort of member to a privat hive hoster, some extra layer of security, so active server administrators can instately interact with the server and kick/ban an "unfair" player, the fair players get a new server password, so whenever the criminal try again to connect he not even get get in because of server password. ( if all new privats have to become passworded)

Tonight i tryed a privat hive server, i really had fun, the only thing i didn't like of that server was the fact that they removed food, and food, in my opinion is just what is dayz is all about, so i will not go there anymore.

Tomorrow i will try another privat hive and see what happens there.

But again, i will never send anybody my GUID or any other sensitive cd or serial id's.

I have no problem with some sort of member system, but i preffer just unpassworded privats for now :)

Anyway, tonight we did have a hacker on the privat hive, but somebody saw it, the active admin checked it and "plop" he was BANNED, the whole episode took 2 minutes, and didn't hurt anybody, luckely :

Oh and another thing i want to get of my chest.

Suggestion for the Public hive, just Release an new patch, to get rid of all the heavy weapons, and repair the duping problem, fix the off map parking of stuff..........And then pick a day and time and whipe the whole fuck, spawn everybody without anything in the central place in cherno, have a party there, box the whole lott in for 24 hours with barbedwire, have disco lights, music and plenty of FULL wiskey bottles, food and drinks ( maybe also some hot cosplay girls, after 12 offcause, the whole nine yards. Again make everybody a well fed prisonor for 24 hours :) lol

Got bored after the endless hours I put into it, drove every vehicle in the mod, shot every weapon in the mod, even weapons and vehicles that weren't in the mod, I've seen buildings get demolished by smoke grenades and satchels, seen a huge radio tower impaling a battle ship on top of the cherno hotel, and a few helicopters flying around it fighting each other over control, got bored after messing with people became boring because now all they do is disconnect at the first sign of danger or shoot me while I'm unarmed, without even giving me a chance to mess with them.

Also script kiddies everywhere, but that actually makes the game fun if you're not planning on surviving anyways.

This little fuck.

Was a member of the group, flew the helicopter for them. When we got raided, the leader (ikilleverything on the forums, {GR} Gunrunners ingame, Frank on TS) was too busy playing lingor and being an immature little twat (see: your mom jokes) to help rebuild, and relocate. Figured out that he was a skiddie, through logical deduction (Military Ural, KSVK, PKM, GP-25 Flares, a supermarket, medical tent, and fuel tanks at a location north of Pobeda Dam, and replacing a helicopter within an hour of its crash) and failed miserably when i tried to expose him. Moved on to a private hive server after a ~2 month hiatus. DayZ's on hiatus again right now because Mists of Pandaria came out (Fuck yeah, Panda Parade!)

Just went back to vanilla Arma and fell in love with it once again. This game really shines with huge long-mid range battles with infantry, tanks, CAS and arty support. Flying A10, being a gunner in Cobra/Apache, going house to house clearing it from insurgents or just giving hell with M1A2 TUSK is the shit. ))

I just play private hive these days due to hackers. I'll be back with a vengeance for the standalone though! ^_^
