srgtrhodes 6 Posted September 30, 2012 You know I see quite a bit of electronic equipment in DayZ and I just thought "Imagine the amount of batteries you'd need to power this shit" I mean the NVG's, AWS sights, laser sights etc.Wouldn't it be interesting if you had to lug around some batteries to power this stuff? I mean imagine you're trackng a target with the AWS and it suddenly turns into a normal scope thanks to an empty battery and you have to hurry up and change the battery in it to restore power. So adding batterys to the game would be my suggestion (if you didn't gather that) it kinda makes for a consequence for using this stuff longer than a small journey and it adds another small survival featureAnyway just another crazy thought I had thanks for reading.P.S I know NVG batteries last a long time, its just a suggestion.

Armedfiremonkey 2 Posted October 1, 2012 I think they should also have like a battery power tester. imagine this: you are about to go on a night time mission to the NW airfield. you have an L85A2 AWS and you don't know how much battery power is left in the sight. You don't want to go and have the battery die on you. So you pull out the battery tester and see that the battery has only 25% power left. You find a spare battery in your tent and then you know that the sight won't turn off on you when you are about to shoot the zed (depending on how long you stay there). Just an idea
