Friendlies in Cherno - This Is Why You Shouldn't Kill On Sight

Recommended Posts

There a bit of back story required as I just roll into Cherno solo looking for an interview. Stick with it because the fun really starts at 5:55

Just watched the whole thing, great mini-series!

I love teaming up with randoms, sidechat really is a game changer. One person's lack of experience or there unwillingness to take advice can often cause huge problems for the group like that guy firing the Lee Enfield in town for example, or somebody running down the middle of the road making tons of noise alerting zombies instead of running on the grass. Despite the problems it's a lot of fun. The riskiness of being around randoms with guns can be pretty exhilarating. Hearing you guys all admit you were a little scared of each other was was interesting, not a typical experience you find in video games! The Billy character seemed to be pissing his pants in fright until he turned on the bravado too. Overall a pretty great showcase of the emotions you can find in DayZ.

Thanks I felt very lucky to be a part of it. Sidechat is what I really miss in the public hives - hopefully the standalone finds a way to incorporate it. Maybe a found object like a radio with different channels for different chats.

And you would have just killed another bunch of pixels like any other FPS. By not just shooting on sight we had a much more interesting experience.

To be honest I thought someone was going to betray the group at some point. I was so glad it didn't go down like that as it restored my faith in the mod and it's community.

Good video :)

Youve earnt yourself a suscriber

I usually overwatch cities with my DMR, to help people if they need it and take out bandits.

If I had seen this group I would have come down to see what all the commotion was about

Stay friendly :)

And this is how it ends - like many DayZ adventures do - at Stary Sober

I will allow the name Cherno 7 to exist not because I led that merry band, which I didn't I was just along for the ride, but because we all met in Cherno and didn't kill each other - which was what made it pretty special. So here's to the Cherno 7 let us all meet again for fun and frivolity.

And not to forget the one who was trying to kill you, called you "the Cherno 7", so he was "impressed"(or maybe scared?) by the amount of friendlys wich met randomly and created a good time together.

Looking forward for more videos of the chernarus free press.
