Zombies

Recommended Posts

I believe that the strength of zombies, is in number. I would absolutely love for this game to increase the number of zombies, but make then a tad easier to kill. It would be more tolerable to die by a horde of zombies eating my body then to be hit by two or three and bleed out.

More zombies i'm all for it, easier to kill nope, i think a little slower zombies maybe good, and have them following/Populate the roads.

So you want to make this somekind of arcade zombie shooter = lots of easy zombies? L4D, try that.

No thank you, I would keep the numbers but make them much much harder... this have been discussed else where.

They can't add more zombies because it would put too much strain on the servers. Use the search bar.

When? Last I heard that wouldn't be implemented until the standalone.

The zombie models have been altered, they can add more zombies now.

It isn't the zombie model detail/complexity that limits the server's capacity to handle more of them, as the server does not actually have to visually render anything, the additional load to the server comes as a result of having to perform additional calculations in accordance with the number of active zombie instances, and the bandwidth required to share this data with the connected clients.

In other words, the limitations are still in place, regardless of the state of the zombie models. smile.gif
