CZ550?

Has anyone found a CZ550 in a while? I haven't and I've been looking hard. Something about running around with a deer rifle as my range weapon feels more realistic to me. Looking to pair it with my M4. Was just wondering if anyone has been finding them... where abouts are you finding them? I've only found them in barns and deer blinds, but not in a while.

I'm finding them in barns, still.

They can actually spawn in all types of loot locations, including Residential.

I've only found one in the couple months I've played DayZ. I never see anyone with them. They have become more rare than AS50s :/

I would, but I don't want to give up my M4 CCO SD. I have the m9 SD id be willing to part with or a extra pair of NVG's i been holding onto for a friend who apparently doesn't want to get on anymore

I've only found one in my history of DayZ, I believe in a Prigorodky Barn, I was going to pick it up but forgot as my buddy and I were healing each other then getting hit by Zombies and falling off stairs.

Ive only ever found them in barns. Although ammo is the thing i never find.

I think I might have found two in the last several months, both in barns. It's a shame though, since I do find the ammo everywhere, and I do like them.

I seem to run into DMR's a lot more than the CZ.

As do I, rather it be from hackers or randomness I don't know.

I've found two in my time playing. One in a red roofed barn and one in a small grey roofed barn if I remember rightly.

It's easier to find an AS50 in a tent or on a player of course. I find DMRs regularly at helicopter crash sites too.

I found 2 in the same barn yesterday lol. Put one in my pack and brought one with me. They're awesome to use. Something I love about a good old hunting rifle design. Not high tech military rifles

When I want to find one, I usually find one. Just check barns..She will be there eventually :)

I found one yesterday along with 5 mags in the barn and on zombies I killed to get to the barn. :)

such an overrated gun on these forums. only people i see that want them are those on the forum that want to handicap themselves for the sake of role playing. it's rare because it's the worst sniper rifle in the game, with a terrible scope. i've seen them in a lot in barns, but even if i'm a fresh spawn, i'd rather just keep my AK variant or enfield, leave it and head north to hunt down a chopper crash and get a DMR. i've found a shit load of tents with pretty much every weapon and tool in the game, but i can't recall ever seeing a CZ in one. nobody wants to use them, nobody wants to save/dupe them and every gun in its class is better than it.

I don't have a problem hitting targets in one shot at 700-800m and dropping them. But I see your point.... but I like a challenge

Same! AS50 is easy to find but Cz550 is a gun I haven't seen in months.

I've only ever found 3 CZ550s since I started playing, each time they've been in those long white animal barn type buildings.
