How to play DayZ - Battleye global ban #a796

I have really been wanting to play Dayz for some time. I got the Good Old Games combined operations, installed it, and the play withsix, installed it, signed up for a free play withsix account. When I ran the program, servers show up but first time I tried to connect to one I got this error Battleye: Global Ban #a796. What gives? Im not sure what I did wrong? Also, it says im using version ARMA 2 1.62.0.97448 if that means anything. Thanks for any help.

How did I install it wrong? This is what I did;

Installed the gog arma 2 (it was a single exe file)

installed play forsix

got a free username for play forsix and logged in

the play forsix downloaded and installed the day z mod

Then when I started it, servers showed up and when I went to join one I got the error. I didnt even get to play the game.

Where did I go wrong?

You ran that hack that stole your cd key and replaced it with a Banned one which is why you got the same BAN ID as another hacker

That means another hacker had the same code as you but you only just bought the game so you must have had a Hack downloaded that wasnt really a hack and was actually a cd key stealer and gave you the same key as the banned one , Enjoy your banned game , thats what you get for hacking.

You need to make sure that you are running the program with administrator privlidges. I received the same global ban code when I first tried to play multiplayer. Don't expect any help from Bohemia, BattlEye, the DayZ Mod developers, or least of all this forum. There is such hatred for hackers that you are guilty with no chance to prove yourself innocent around here.

I expect far better customer service from the products I buy. I will not purchase another game that uses BattlEye. I do have the game up an running finally, no thanks to them. All it took was to make sure that I ran the program as an administrator. Try it, it might work for you.

You being dumb. It's not that that's the problem it's that he thought he could be like all the script kiddy hipsters and spawn in items and vehicles and change his skin. Nope, he downloaded a keylogger. ENJOY THE BAN! =D

Have a problem with the ban? Go BUY that's right BUY another copy of ArmA 2 CO on another Steam account and export/import in your registries and force Steam to write the new ArmA 2 OA key into your registry.

You got this problem too because you used a CD-Key stealer thinking "Aww yea Epic HAx For FREEZZ"

Jesus guys, show some courtesy. For gog, it seems to install a default key that is banned if the installation wasn't followed correctly.

There are probably some steps in the installation process you didn't follow. First of, uninstall Dayz and SixLauncher. Then re-read the installation instructions from GOG. Also remember that you need both a serial and cd-key. Then try to join an Arma2:OA server. If that works fine, DL Dayz commander and use that to install Dayz and try again. DL only from official sites. If someone offers you a "fix" be very wary as there are a lot of cd-key stealers out there. I would strongly advise against running files received in a PM. If it is an official fix you'll find it on official sites.

i got a cd stealer in with a dayz map , juts the map i downloaded and global ban , it should be clearer to people whats are the proper maps and extra download you can get and what are from creeps that hack and mess everyones game up then steal our games becouse there to cheep to pay to mess it up,

not everyone thats band intended to do wrong,

it will happen to some of you guys so keep being smug . and just let the real hackers laff at everyone, a hacker wouldnt be in here crying about getting there cd key stolen for 1 , becouse they know you dont care .
