Bad version - need help!

Hello people!

I bought Arma 2 : Combined operations on steam the other day and immediately installed the games aswell as the DayZ mod. I then patched the game to 93701 via http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and ran the application.

The thing is that whenever i try to connect to some servers it keeps giving me the "bad version" error.

I am currently using http://arma2.swec.se/server/list as a server browser since its easier to handle rather than the ingame one.

I've found 3-4 swedish servers which i would like to play on but i keep getting theese errors.

You're not launching the beta properly... either that, or the servers you're trying to connect do aren't running the same Beta as you.

When on the main screen, check in the bottom right hand that you are infact running 1.6.93701.

When i am launching Combined operations it says 1.60.87580 so i guess that you're right. Do you have any idea how i can fix it? Installing the 93701-build seems to do nothing.

hey mzltv, can you please show us the link to get 1.6.93701 beta, because when i got the 93701 (latest) beta patch off this website http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php it only patches me up to 1.60.87580 not 1.6.93701. can you please help?
