Zombie Stench

Hey all, have you ever thought about what the smell of a zombie apocalypse would smell like? I wouldn't think it would smell nice, the stench of rotting flesh all over the place. So why not add that effect to the game? When you go looting through towns, the smell gets stronger and your character starts to find it more unbearable. He starts coughing now and again but the longer you stay in the town, it becomes more frequent. It won't alert zombies but other players around you. I guess a way to stop it would be wearing a gas mask, so your character won't cough. This would add realism and maybe stop camping snipers all over towns, so walking through cherno is a tad easier.

I find not breathing through your nose when something smells fucking terrible to be quite effective.

How about placing a piece of spoiled meat in front of you while playing?

No need to add effects that you don't actually "feel/smell". I don't think your average military gasmask would filter odor.
