Thankyou Battleye!

Recommended Posts

Seriously, for the first time in about 3 months im going to say it, Thankyou battleye.

Since the last update you have weeded out so many scripters and hackers its crazy.

Weeks in a row have I barely made a single day without being instakilled teleported or thrown into the air to break whats left of my bean filled body.

5 Days ago i spawned fresh after yet another hack attack on me..I made my way doing the usual to gear up..

My 5th night in game and im living solo in a town i cant pronounce an iv had an untouched tent with half decent gear. Iv run into fully kitted groups who have given me a pair of NVGs and wished me good luck for my journey. Im lone wolf, almost 6 days in and 168 zombies down and still going okay on ammunition.

To me this is how the game should be played. Surviving against the zombies and trying to have a positive interaction with people i run into.

Thanks to a recent battleye update all the hack infested servers iv played on in the last 3 months are welcoming fields and towns of the infected that were left.

:D Happy little ozzie lone wolf!

I had end game gear then got killed by a hacker who teleported to me and killed me. It was somewhat nice to have a fresh start. Though I will miss my 12 guns armory.

Yeah they have gotten rid of some of the extreme hacks. Teleporting and ESP are still rampant. Deal with those and we have a decent game.

End game gear will usually give you end game from my experience.

Mid range gear is exciting and great to be able to have a flow of ammunition between any town.

Most geared up people wont take down a lower geared player. But if you stroll past rocking as50's etc consider yourself a target for pros and hackers and as well the desperatos

Beans for your positive but I think you've just been lucky. The other guy is correct, the ESP and teleporting thing that they use to ruin our sessions haven't been addressed yet. Or, please tell me I'm wrong.

I've only been killed by hackers once. However, I once ran into 12 (surprisingly friendly) hackers all at one time.

Pennyworth, no not necessarily. I have been searching for a tent now for over a month with no luck. Of course, others will see them everywhere but I've been all over the map - stopped in every supermarket, every cafe/bar looked in barns, sheds, industrial sites, well, just everywhere but no tents.

Still, can't complain. My hunt has taken me up to the Northwest and Northeast airfields, and I've found a few heli crashes. Got myself an M249 saw at the moment. Seems quite nice but bit loud. So there's always a plus to every negative.

I'm on one of my best runs yet too. 7 day old character, 600+ zombie kills, 5+ bandit kills, 50+ tents found, all tools, end-game tier equipment plus a freaking bicycle which I've managed to keep for 4 days - some kind of record for me. All while playing on public hive servers.

Battleye isn't entirely responsible. The mod has lost players to the other great game releases of the last couple weeks and when you're on top, as DayZ was throughout the summer, you become a target for trolling, we all know that. The community has played a huge part in cracking down on cheats with the development of things like DayZ AntiHax and Community Banlist too.

I'd say the game is playing better then it has in 6 weeks or so, well done all involved.

(guy snuck up on my on a heli crash, pulled the trigger till it went click) survied 2 teleports, lost all my gear 2 times got all my tent flattened and detroyed, but still manage to find mid level gear, and not a as50 sniper to be seen.

Oh man anyone can survive on a private hive. Try do that time on a public server picking a different server per night with the most players. Its crazy fun.
