Envirobear2000 0 Posted September 28, 2012 Hello, I'm on Takistan and I spawned in the wilderness, ran for ages (probably about 10 minutes) and now I honestly have no idea where I am, and no idea which direction I came from and I think I'm in the Debug Lands (randomly generated area). Is there ANY way I can kill myself or reset my spawn? Are there any Takistan servers that kill people in the Debug Lands?

If it isn't enabled hit esc., place cursor where the respawn button is and hit esc. x2 but on the 2nd press hit left mouse button as soon as the menu pops. May take a few trys but this should work... unless it's changed in the past couple of weeks.
Envirobear2000 0 Posted September 28, 2012 I can't do it! The mouse teleports away from respawn when you press escape... I think this is the laziest fix ever.
SwissArmy (DayZ) 5 Posted September 28, 2012 check where the sun sets and at least you'll have a direction. Increase your view distance in the video options to the maximum possible (10000 meters I believe). At that point, choose a direction (esp. something like NW or SW or NE or SE) and run in that direction. If you don't hit any real terrain with trees, shrubs etc. after 10-15 minutes, take a direction 90 degrees left or right, do the same. If you reach the edge of the map (flat world), go in the opposite direction (a full 180).
