When can we create LAN server

Recommended Posts

I find it heaps faggy that I cant fully customize this mod. I currently do not enjoy MP and wish to play on a single player version.

I think you might be more of a single player kind of guy anyway. With those social skills at least.

You CAN fully customize the mod.

You just have to know a few things about modding/ARMA 2 in the first place.

Which you obviously do not.

Edit; Also, LAN servers ARE possible already.

If you'd like to run a private local server & hive, then I'd recommend DayZ Control Center:

It's very easy to use and set up.

Seems a waste of time to play without other people you don't know, takes all the excitement out of it. Running around on a zero pop server the other day made me feel like I was invincible. There was no fear or concern. If that's gone, why play?

Agreed. It is designed to be a large-scale multiplayer game/mod for a reason. Player interactions should (and do) take precedence over PvE gameplay. :)
