Matthew123 0 Posted September 27, 2012 (edited) Hey guys, this is what has been happening lately. Please DAYZ STAFF look at this and fix it please!!!So heres the story. I wanted to find a low population server that I could play on without being killed by bandits etc. So thats what I did. I joined a server with 2 people on it. I collected guns, weapons, ammo, medical supply, etc. At this time all the other 2 players logged off and I was the only one on that server. I decided to head up North hoping to find some valuable stuff, and as I headed up the hill I was then encountered by a zombie that killed me. So I restarted and just headed straight North. I was getting pretty close to Stary Sabor, and got very good gear from their. It was about 12:15am in game server time, I remember because the server was in UTC-7 , which I’m in. I then headed up to NW Airfield. I searched around for a bit, and received some good loot. I then headed out into the wilderness to set up camp. I cant remember exactly what direct I headed too, but im pretty sure it was North West somewhere. I set up a camp and campfire, and was just about to log off when I heard a voice in-game. I checked My internet explorer, and it was open, so I closed my browsers. Then I heard it again. It was kind of a deep voice but I could not make out the words. I was freaking scared to death. I looked around desperately and saying in the direct communication “friendly, friendly!!”. I then logged off. I headed to bed because it was so late. I logged on the next day with about 5 people on the server. It was around 10:30am. I logged on and everything was the same. Later on that day, around 7pm I logged back on. I couldnt get connection anymore to that server so I logged on to another one. This one had around 15 people on it. The in-game times was about 9:30pm when I logged in. I headed back into town to get some supplies, and almost got killed several times. Then a bandit tried to take me out, luckily I shot him back in time to get the kill. anyways, I headed back to the camp I had set up. I stored all the new items and I heard that voice again. It was still the same. I could not understand it. I couldnt ask in side chat because it was not enabled. I desperately tried to search around and right their when I turned was this zombie. I promise you this is not a joke. It was a little bit more worn out then a regular zombie, had white eyes, and a significant scar across its face. Their was a small white opening on its face that looked like its skull. So I shot it with my m107 and it died. That shot attracted a whole horde of zombies and I didnt survive. I kind of took a break from DayZ for a while. I have a friend named Joey that recently bought Arma 2 for DayZ. He asked me a few days after he got the game to help him get out of an area in which he was trapped and scared to move. He said the exact same description of that zombie that I saw a week earlier. I them moved him out and brought him back to Petrovka where his ATV was. Since then I have only played DayZ a few times and haven’t seen anything else on this. Has anyone experienced this?I forgot to add, I told my friend to head up to NW airfield again and to see if anything was their, but he couldn't find anything. He tried to look around for a good 3 hours and got nothing. From this point were waiting on an answer to solve this problem.
