This ever happen to you?

So I am in a populated server roughly 28/40, strolling through the woods, giddy over my latest score (DMR & Bizon SD, plenty of ammow for both) at a chopper crash south of the dam NE of Gvozdno, when suddenly I am teleported 100ft in the air with every other player falling to my certain doom

my first reaction, i hit esc, and aborted the server just before i hit the ground.. success maybe?

I then join some random server and YES! i had all my stuff! and i was in the exact spot i was before the teleport... i continue to play and raid the NE airfield, and find a camp before I log

but..

when i log on today.. i had to make a new character :-\

i thought i had beat the hacker by quitting before i hit the ground... and i did for a short while i guess, just frustrating is all

yeah it's like majorly annoying for that to happen even after you "survive"..... i just sing nice little songs till i make a red puddle on the ground!

Abort instantly then join another server and alt F4 right when you click ok to join server to force a coast spawn. I have experienced the log in death, but this might be different. Did you have a backpack when you spawned?

I think the best part of this hacker attack is you get to hear the reactions of each player, mostly containing swears and all that.

I think the best solution of getting off Hacker Teleportation Airlines is, and this is the ONE AND ONLY USE FOR IT, Alt+F4. It's quicker than aborting manually and saves you some time.

ive never alt+f4 in this game, so i never thought about using it... dont think it would have made much difference either, ah well, im going to private hive again

I got teleported one time. Back when I was playing for the first time. I've been trying to navigate towards my friends whom I played with... suddenly Thunderdome! We all logged out and chose another server. Bam! We're all together. Thanks hacker!

Yeah it sucks ass but yeah it happens. I like listening to peoples reactions too. Best was on a busy server when the whole server got teleported to Kamenka. Amidst all the angry shouts of "wtf?" and "noooo god damn hackers" someone piped up with "DON'T SHOOT. THAT'S WHAT THEY WANT US TO DO". So for a couple of minutes nobody shot and just chatted. I think greed got the better of one guy when he saw what others were carrying and before long everyone was shooting each other up and shouting so I Alt+F4'd before I got killed. My mate played possum in a pile of bodies and ended up the last person alive to reap the benefits :D
