Weirdest spawn so far

I spawn in and straight away I hear a helicopter. It is right in front of me about 500 meters away. I SOS it (server being night time) and it lands. Get on, greet the pilot and a minute later get shot down... Very strange

Ive seen a couple of strange spawns playing the game, some of my strangest ;

- middle of the sea miles out on the coast

- Otmel island

- Off map middle of nowhere with no gear

- Ground hog style respawn for 2 weeks every re-log in at the same place at Electro

- Spawned yards away from a boat

- Spawned on the coast as a group were running past me. I managed to mingle in without anyone noticing me!

I lost my stuff due to a bug. Still got Ghillie suit on, but no backback or else. I spawn at the coast. Run to a town into the store. Hear steps behind me. I Turn around. "Freeze" a guy yells at me, aiming with a pistol. I freeze and say "friendly". He then asks me to drop my gear. "I have no gear" I reply. "Bullshit, look at you! Give me your stuff or I'll take it". I then improvise. "Do you really think I'm all alone here? My Clanmates are watching you, so you better lower that weapon". In panic he looks around, I use his time of confusion and try escape though the rear entrance. It works. I hear him shoot. Just as I open the yellow doors I am greeted by about 7 Ghillie Suited well armed guys...I panic and scream "Help me!". "Move aside" one of them replies. Just as I'm out of the door the bandit appears. Hell breaks loose as all of them open fire.

Later the day I joined their clan :)

Edit: Thx to the bandit that tried to rob me for doing it the "proper" way (not shooting me on sight). You are the reason for one of my most intense DayZ experiences :).

Strange indeed...however, I hope that you have learned the lesson what to do next time you see any sort of vehicle? Especially those who make provoking beep, beep sounds driving around cities? RUN, Forrest, RUN!!! (opposite direction of course)

We already thought about doing it, but it is hard to fake a situation like that, including a convincing "help me" cry ;)
