If you're gonna spend that much, you might as well get a better processor. Other than that, nice.

Even Ivy Bridge processors cant pump out the speed the 2500k does. Much more stable though.

I wouldn't suggest this site for homebuild suggestions. Sure, some of these guys know their shit, but piddle compared to most of the folks over at Tom's Hardware. I posted my proposed build and had people even go out of their way to look up benchmark comparisons and find cheaper hardware that was faster.

By the end I had a much more powerful, and cheaper, build than I had originally intended.

TL;DR - The folks at Tom's Hardware eat, sleep, and breath computers.

The H60 is a waste of $ get a Coolermaster 212 evo it will perform as well for alot less.

If your getting a z77 motherboard you may as well get an Ivybridge CPU to make use of the board fully, yes the Ivy wont overclock as high but its Clock for clock performance is higher so you get the same performance in the end.

SSD is nice but unless this a box just to play a couple of games your going to fill 128GB VERY fast try to get a second 500GB HDD for files and porn

I would swap the 7970 for a GTX670 its simply the best value performance GPU around right now, if you like to OC you can clock it too GTX680 performance easy.

Thats a shit PSU stick to these brands - Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, OCZ, ANTEC

Tiny harddrive, other than that, nice!

It's an SSD. Best upgrade ever! Especially for Arma2 and related.

I don't really know my stuff for building a computer, I'm getting help from my friend right now. And this computer will be strictly games. Mostly DayZ. I won't be downloading much else.
