"Time of day" not synced

Date/Time: Anytime I play

What happened: The time of day is not synced between players, I can join a server with a friend and we have both different times on our watches, sometimes its as far as being Day for him and Night for me, even though we are stood right next to each other in game, this is a big issue i think. It only really happens on laggy servers tho (where i get 200ping) and i join about 5-10 minutes before or after my friend)

*Timeline of events before/after error: You can be doing anything. This is a huge problem. The differences between time of day is huge for some people. I have played with some who have told me it is pitch black/cant see anything, and their watches have read up to an hour ahead of mine, while I would be playing during the day time/can see everything clear as day. Reconnecting to the server tends to reset the time for the people affected(temp workaround).
