mibz0r 141 Posted September 25, 2012 Basically I've just finished building a system (on a tight budget) for a friend so he can start playing DayZ, I have a spare copy of Arma II for him but he still needs Operation Arrowhead so I would like to know if anyone knows of a place that beats everyone else on price for this, he has already spent more than he wished to on getting the system running so any help would be kindly accepted. mibz0r 141 Posted September 25, 2012 That is about the best price I've found but I'm trying to be a scrooge as his PC went over budget so if I could find it for £10 I'd be happy, Looks like I will be buying it from them if I don't find it cheaper by 6pm. puppetworx 474 Posted September 25, 2012 Now that's an offer I'd be mad to refuseJust a warning: you can buy ARMA 2: OA keys from hackers online for $5, they harvest the keys from people who download cheats so the keys are often banned or sold repeatedly (the same key cannot be used by more then one person at one time). The guy offering might be legit, or he might be offering one of these stolen keys, or he might be offering the key from his already banned account. I felt a duty to let you know the risks. mibz0r 141 Posted September 25, 2012 Oh I know the risks but I don't believe that he would offer it openly on the thread, I would more likely to not trust him had he offered by PM and I'm willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt.
mibz0r 141 Posted September 28, 2012 Well guys it appears the warning should have been heeded as dzembo provided me with a key that has been disabled due to sharing, I don't expect sympathy or anything like I'm just making this post to warn you as this guy is untrustworthy and probably hacking too (I say that because most shared keys come from hack sites)Now maybe if he had refunded me I wouldn't be too bothered but he hasn't replied to PM's so I feel compelled to warn others.
