No chance, sorry.

If you managed to launch the game on that rig it would probably be reduced to a bubbling pool of molten metal within seconds.

Upgrade your cpu to at least 2 core. I'm playing with similiar configuration: 2 core, 2 GB, gtx 240.

Mid-low i'm think. Some servers running smoothly, some shitty, but it's playable. Good luck.

You could try low... dont expect even decend fps. Specially when going online in dayz... arma2free could run local trainings somewhat decend fps.

Your whole rig is so outdated, even the gfx.

600usd should get you a decend gaming rig.

I'd try to upgrade to a quad-core and add another 2Gb RAM if your mobo has the space for it. Also, this is a stretch but if your mobo has a second SLi slot, I'd stick a second GTS 250 in there.

No offence, but I think the PC I had 10 years ago was higher spec than yours. xD

Woudn't even try to upgrade on that platform, whatever you add to it will have an inflated price and be already crappy and dated.

If your on a tight budget get a cheap AM3+ board, Phenom II 965BE, 4GB DDR3 and reuse your current graphics card till you can afford new that would set you back about £130 (US$180-ish) and give you the basis of a decent current system that should last a while.

€1000?! Did you buy it from an antique dealer? xD

If you have the time and money, do what wr6133 said. It will be better in the long run to get a new mobo and some DDR3 components than keep messing around with old parts. :)

yo people i really want to start gaming on recent games again, with nice gfx and good framerate. so i'm gonnna upgrade my whole system, i don't wanna waste any money or fuck things up so some advice on what i could get for around 500 euro would be appreciated. :D my plan is to get a nice good processor, add some extra RAM memory and i will probably need a new motherboard too i'm guessing ? if that's around the price range i'd love to get a new gfx card too so i can run direct x 11 ! :P i don't want to play new games on ultra settings but nicer is always better :D so is this doable for my price range or should i stretch it ??

First I'd like to say I don't know shit about motherboards.

If you have the case and psu and motherboard already, you could get a 550ti (150 USD on amazon) or 560ti (240 usd on amazon) + an i5 2500k (220 usd on amazon). Then 8 gb of ram seems to always be around 40 USD

I think it's time for you to buy a new pc. because your system is like... really outdated. Single core processors aren't sold since 2007 or so.

Something like that, will be perfect for all recent games in high resolution.

Also don't use vista for gaming, please seven is best :)
