Would I be able to run DayZ on max settings with this?

Damn bro, with 7200 rpm on your HDD you could get at least the Hyper-Contextual graphics settings rigged up (really high graphics setting).

Alright, cool.

Nice rig though!

To be honest, I don't have it YET. It's being shipped as of today. It'll be here by October 5th. I just wanted to know if I could run max settings before hand.

Not sure about max because very high AA settings can give cards a real beating, Arma II is heavily CPU bound, and DayZ hammers machines even more, but you should be able to enjoy very high settings at a high resolution with that setup. Nice machine by the looks of it.

I've got i7, 8gb RAM, HD6970 and a 7200rpm HDD and I only run 'high' settings with HDR on 'very high'. I doubt this rig will run the game maxed out but it should be very playable on slightly higher settings than I play on.
