Private Hive Server File Editing

Is there a good reference site with explanations on how to's for edit files on a Private Hive Server? Like Vehicle Spawns, Time? I have Google d and Google d and followed steps on other forums and my Time always stays the same even though on the Server name it changes, also with Vehicles after I did the edit I get less spawns and in different locations, I did move back the original changes but Vehicles are so freaking hard to find and they are not in the same locations of my regular Server that is not a Hive, also I notice a new Update 7 this am for Private Hives, what are the changes? -

In order to help you we need more information:

- Is it your own server? as in hosted from your "backyard" or have you rented the private server?

- What software are you using? VERY IMPORTANT as theres over 10 different ones now.

Every software has a different setup and a different way of editing it :)

I rent from Elpis Hosting and I have used PBOview , I have done most changes on the Control Panel - I am new to DayZ Servers but work as IT Specialist with 150 Virts so follow steps and knowing what to look for should be easy for me - I hope (LoL)
