excelsior 20 Posted September 24, 2012 Players need a way to contact the admin in one way or another IN game. Either by a command "/admin message" or a voice channel.
Paddy0610 278 Posted September 24, 2012 (edited) i would Support this, if i would have some ingame solution rather then have to make a contact E-Mail that i won´t look at all the Time. It would bring a faster contact and solution for Problems. Edited September 24, 2012 by Paddy0610
enforcer1975 1111 Posted September 24, 2012 That would cause a lot of traffic... admin this, admin that...from what i see people whining about little things in the forum already. I know how bad it can get, i was admin in a community doing exactly this and that for the kids that got kicked or banned for bad behaviour or exploiting ( which was the majority of the cases )
Exenima 45 Posted September 24, 2012 Yeah, this would be a hassle to many admins. Retarted players get upset over the supidest thing, so admins will have all these messages saying "omg my gun dissapeared wtf" from stupid players. Maybe implement it on the servers hosted by the devs when the standalone is released, but ultimately its a choice that admins have to decide.
Riem 164 Posted September 24, 2012 There would need to be a way for an admin to open up communications via a private message to a player, not the other way around.Say in side chat, someone says they just got hacked, bugged, and any of the other griefs people talk about. The admins could at their discretion message the player to ask what was going on, details, etc.Basically, players shouldn't be able to spam admins about every little complaint.
