How to enlargen a picture in a post?

So I tried dragging in a picture (for a recruitment post), but it did not show up when I posted it. So I added one using the upload thing at the bottom. I get a little code on the editor screen, but when I upload it I get the actual picture. My problem is the picture is TINY. How do I make it bigger? Thanks!
