Put on camo, lose pack?

I founf the big coyote pack and had it filled and then I found camo in another dead persons pack. Later I went to put camo on and it switched my big pack back to starter pack and I lost all items that would not fit. So should I drop pack first, then put on camo or can you not wear camo and have a large pack? Thanks.

You have to take off your backpack before putting clothing and it will make a copy of your backpack and it will be empty

Drop pack > switch model > pickup pack.

Is because when you switch cloths, your changing model, and the default model typically has no backpack, but dayz puts one on new spawns, so it bugs to putting no backpack on, but days scripts to give you a starter one :L hard to explain.

Could of been a hacked pack also. Maybe not but its possible. I have heard of people taking hacked items and switching clothes or dropping them and they turn into something stupid suddenly lol

I've never had this problem and never lost my pack or contents when switching skins, but now I take my pack off in case. If I ever lose my pack when I put it on the ground though I'll go back to just switching skins like before.

It hasn't been happening to me lately, maybe with the later beta patches it's fixed? Might just be fixed on Lingor.. Always drop your bag if you want to keep it before changing clothing. ;)

easy..

if you start and you find a bigger backpack...

and then you change your skin, you get your old backpack again. (dont know why.. -> bug..)

solution: if you find a bigger backpack, Abort! And/or rejoin the server. then it wont happen.
