Was hoping someone knew the answer to this question couldn't find anything in the forums. I have been playing dayZ on my desktop at home for awhile. Currently I am at recruiting school for the army and decided to feed my fix by bringing my laptop. If I load steam and arma CO on my laptop will it change my character that i have already saved in the hive? I ask because i will be using the same steam account just a different IP address. I am unsure if the hive tracks your character through steam or dayZ commander? thanks for the help!

its based off CD key

Edit: so yes it will be the same character

Should track your character fine, as noted, Steam will use the same key and dayz records your character off your key :)
