Do you gain humanity through time?

So, I'm deep in the red. (-250k humanity).

I've heard that humanity increases by like 200 every 20 min or something until you reach 2500. Is this true?

Um if you left your gaming running 24/7 to just get to 0 Humanity it'd take

No, humanity raises to 2500 for Survivors (Not sure for bandits).
